Consider the Position of the Skip
One of the most important things you can do to ensure user safety is to consider where your skip will be physically located. All our skips are very heavy and should not be moved after delivery, so it’s vital to get the positioning right from the outset.
Ideally, it should be positioned on a flat, stable surface in an open area, which will allow you to safely load the skip without damaging nearby property. If possible, it’s also a good idea to position the skip in close proximity to the waste site. This makes disposal much more efficient, and reduces the risk of injury associated with carrying heavy or awkwardly shaped objects over long distances.

Load the Skip Carefully
Regardless of the size of your skip hire, it’s critical that you know how to load the skip safely. In addition, you should never overfill your skip, as this increases the risk of falling debris on site or while the skip is in transit.
